      Core Principle
      Your data stays in your cloud storage. Semptify does not own your documents, does not sell your data, and does not use your data to train AI models. We are a privacy-first platform built for people who need to protect their rights.
    

1. What Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Session information: temporary browser session ID to maintain your privacy preferences and role selection during your visit
Documents you upload to your personal vault
Timeline events, messages, and case notes you create
Generated letters and checklist responses

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

OAuth authentication tokens (stored encrypted, used only for cloud storage access)
Basic system logs (errors, uptime) for platform reliability
No tracking pixels, no advertising cookies, no analytics scripts

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

Provide the Semptify service (vault storage, document delivery, timeline, tools)
Authenticate your cloud storage connection and secure your session
Maintain and improve platform stability
Comply with legal requirements (subpoena, court order) if applicable

3. Where Your Data Lives

      User-Controlled Cloud Storage
      Your documents are stored in your own Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive, in a Semptify folder you control. You can revoke access, delete the folder, or download everything at any time. Semptify does not maintain copies of your documents on our servers except temporary cache during upload.
    

4. What We Do Not Do

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers
We do not use your documents to train AI models
We do not track you across the web
We do not share your data with landlords, property managers, or opposing parties
We do not run behavioral analytics or profiling

5. Blockchain Timestamping

When you upload documents to your vault, you may optionally generate a blockchain timestamp. This creates a cryptographic proof of existence at a point in time. The timestamp does not contain the document content — only a hash (fingerprint). This is for your evidence preservation. We cannot reverse a hash to recover your document.

6. Document Delivery

Semptify does not facilitate document exchange between users. Documents remain in your personal cloud storage. If you choose to share documents with others (via external email, download, or third-party services), those actions occur outside Semptify.

7. Data Retention

Your documents: retained in your cloud storage for as long as you keep them there
Session information: automatically cleared when you close your browser or disconnect storage
System logs: retained for 90 days for debugging, then purged

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access and download all your data
Clear your browser session and disconnect cloud storage at any time
Revoke cloud storage access at any time
Update your role selection or privacy preferences during your session
Export your timeline and vault index

9. Security

We use industry-standard security practices: HTTPS everywhere, encrypted OAuth tokens, access controls by role, and rate limiting. However, no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your cloud storage account and device.

10. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes by email and by posting an update on this page with a new "Last updated" date. We will never reduce your privacy rights without explicit consent.
