Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across the Semptify website and application. This is an ongoing effort, not a finished claim — we test as we build and fix what we find.

What We Do

• Semantic page structure — headings, landmarks, and lists that screen readers can navigate.
• Full keyboard support — every interactive control is reachable and operable without a mouse.
• Visible focus indicators — you can always see where you are on the page.
• Color contrast that meets WCAG AA ratios; information is never carried by color alone.
• Respect for reduced-motion settings — animations are disabled when your system asks for it.
• Plain-language writing — short sentences, no jargon, honest labels.
• Form fields with real labels and human-readable error messages.

Known Limitations

We are a small project and some areas are still catching up:

• Some older pages are mid-migration to the current design system and may be less consistent.
• Document previews of user-uploaded files (scans, photos) depend on the quality of the upload.
• Third-party embeds (such as cloud storage pickers) are outside our direct control.

If any part of Semptify is hard for you to use, we want to know — accessibility reports are treated as bugs, not suggestions.

Enforcement

If you believe your rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act or other accessibility laws have been violated, you may contact the U.S. Department of Justice or file a complaint through ada.gov. We would still rather hear from you first so we can fix the problem.
